SUMMARY

In 2002, a German scientist named KARL- HIENZ SCHAFER was found dead in a French hotel under suspicious circumstances. A unique package left open and the remnants of burnt paper in an ashtray. No signs of foul play.

Two of China’s largest saltwater lakes, ‘Siling’ and ‘Nam’ located in the Tibetan region become threatened by the sudden unexplained appearance of broken clay pots and dead fish along their shorelines. These Lakes are 12 miles apart and are known to NOT be connected, this only begun to raise many questions.

A secure meeting is held in Denver by top ranking political and military officials to understand the severity of the situation and to come to a possible solution.

Dr. LI-JING SONG, a Chinese and Tibetan historian along with JEAN-PIERRE ROUSSE, a French bioinformatician, team up together with CHI LI, a Chinese Geologist student and HAO a local guides assistant to help track down the source of the threat.

From the start, clues started to emerge. 6 days prior to his death, Dr. Karl-Heinz Schafer shares his initial involvement with Jean – Pierre. When Tibet started debates with China over control of the Tibetan region, the United States sees this as a military advantage for China and sides with Tibet.

In 1959 the United States helped Tibet fortify a local army to hold back advancing Chinese troops was the beginning but proving unsuccessful.

A very unique concept was devised by SPECIAL AGENT STEPHEN LOWERY of the United States. Convince China that the region has become barren and not worth their efforts. Something he once overheard from an old friend.

Introduce a ‘Non-toxic’ chemical into the region’s water source. Use clay canopic jars as a controlled guidance, releasing the chemical slowly over a period of a few months. The reaction of the lake’s current mockup would temporarily turn Siling Lake from saltwater to undrinkable fresh water, effectively killing off the current ego system and making the region unusable for a maximum of 5 years. China’s interest would surely be lost.

The remedy for the chemical reaction is its own self-destruction. The replenishing of new saltwater from the feeding rivers would evaporate out of the lake over time after 1 year of being stagnant.   

In 1959 Dr. Karl-Heinz Schafer is hired by an agency to fulfill their request and an effective chemical solution is rendered. All details are laid out and ready to be initiated. The one hurdle was finding someone to disperse the chemical agent who was within the Tibetan circle and keep the secret from the Dalai Lama himself.

A Militant guerilla group called ‘Chushi Gangdruk’ who swore loyalty to protect the Dalai Lama was led by a man named ANDRUK GONPO TASHI, who himself volunteered. Eventually hearing of such a plan, the Dalai Lama refuses the use of such tactics, cancels all negotiations with China and seeks asylum in India.

Agent Stephen Lowery was now contacted by political parties and forced to dispose of the material where it would never be found or used again. The disposal went to no other than the lowest bidder. Not being aware of their contents, the hired party dumps the entire supply into the middle of Siling Lake.

Over the next 50+ years, earthquakes of all magnitudes have unknowingly created fissures connecting these 2 lakes together from below.

Dr. Schafer’s unique chemical compound originally used for the troops during WWII did not realize it had a different reaction after being left dormant for so many years. Due to its urgency at the time Dr. Schafer did not have the time to verify its half-life when left in dry form.

Tracking down all involved becomes the task for Sweden’s elite and Switzerland’s underground Intelligence. As each participant is being eliminated the team is running out of time to find a reversing agent.

All those personally involved are eventually hunted down and killed while keeping the United States, Tibetan loyalists, France, along with Switzerland and Sweden’s elite involvement secret. Ironically, the ones trying to maintain peace on earth become the world’s exterminators eventually being unable to reverse its course, the inevitable loss of all human resources.
